Upside is I then get the additional benefits from the UK card and the different offers they get. For every person on the UK account that has a card - their spouse/partner, plus any kids under the age of 25 are covered via the insurance so my sister in law and niece are covered via my brothers supplementary Platinum card. So I can have her take the main supplementary Centurion slot on my UK account for less (~$3k) so she can bypass the lines at the Centurion Lounges when travelling without me and get some of the other benefits, and also get Platinum cards for my parents and siblings. If I wanted my wife to be added to my US Centurion account so she would have a Centurion card, it is an additional $5k annual fee on top of the core $5k annual fee (there are no additional Centurion or Platinum cards included). The UK version comes as part of the 2200GBP annual fee the following supplementary cards: 2 Centurion cards for main (basic) cardholder as mentioned above, 1 primary supplementary Centurion card, and then 4 additional cards in choice of Platinum/Gold/Green - you can add a few more but at a fee (varies depending on color of card issued). There is some overlap on benefits between UK and US versions - but one of the big deltas is on travel insurance and supplementary cards. Honestly I prefer the old style as it was more durable and heavier as you say. The finally fixed the issue in July after multiple reissues. There was a production issue with the new style card where the top layer would peel off after some use and the card looked shabby as the middle layer is silver. Yes, I’ve had the new style card on my US account since November, 6 of them. I did have the ICC Centurion briefly and you do get an option of having a Euro and a Dollar card, and they each came with additional cards too so you could separate business/personal - that was a little silly to have 4 cards at same time. When the titanium cards rolled out in ~2007/8, only the main primary card was issue in Titanium and the other issued as plastic which was a good thing as the titanium card would get stuck in some machines like those at car parks that grab your card. Not quite on the different currencies - the UK version both the cards for the main cardholder are billed in GBP.
